Synthetic fabrics, toxic dyes, fast fashion designed to fall apart — it didn't make sense anymore. If the rest of my life was intentional, my wardrobe should be too.
At the same time it became impossible to ignore how much waste exists in the fashion industry. Fast fashion fills landfills. Synthetic fabrics harm the planet. Trends replace each other before the last ones even wear out.
